Man charged following people smuggling operation

A man has been charged with conspiracy to assist unlawful immigration into the UK and possession with intent to supply class A drugs following his arrest in Bournemouth on Wednesday (5 November).

Ibrahim Sollaku, 33, from Priory Road, Southampton, was one of three people arrested in a joint South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) and Belgian law enforcement operation.

A second man arrested in Bournemouth on suspicion of the same conspiracy has been released on police bail.

Sollaku has been remanded in custody to appear at Poole Magistrates Court this morning (7 November).
