Appeal following racially aggravated public order incident in Bournemouth

Officers investigating a racially aggravated public order incident in Bournemouth are appealing to witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

At around 11.40am on Saturday 28 March 2026 a man shouted racial abuse from his vehicle at a woman walking with her daughter in Heathcote Road.

The man was reported to be in a dark grey car being driven by a woman. 

Police Constable Ollie Chant, of Dorset Police, said: “We take all reports of hate crime very seriously and have been exploring all lines of enquiry in relation to this incident.

“I understand there were a number of people in the area at the time and I am keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with information that might assist our enquiries.”
