Indecent exposure incident in Bournemouth – witness appeal
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward after a man indecently exposed himself in Bournemouth.
The incident occurred at around 8.40am on Saturday 28 May 2022 while the female victim was walking near to the Long Groyne at the southern tip of Hengistbury Head.
It is reported that a man with a black mountain bike approached, propped his bike up and indecently exposed himself to the victim.
The man is described as white, aged in his mid 30s, approximately six feet tall and well built with dark brown hair that was tied in a low bun. He was wearing a pale blue T-shirt, khaki-coloured shorts and sunglasses.
Police Sergeant Dave Hambleton, of Dorset Police, said: “This was understandably a distressing incident for the victim and we are carrying out enquiries to identify the suspect.
“I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened to please come forward.
“I would also urge any member of the public who may recognise the man from the description given to contact Dorset Police.”
