Appeal after man sustained injuries in Bournemouth

Officers investigating an incident where a man was reported to have sustained injuries in Bournemouth are appealing for him to come forward.

At around 11.55am on Tuesday 16 April 2024 officers were called to the Townsend Community Centre in Jewell Road where it is reported that a man with a stab wound had presented himself asking for help. The man left shortly after in the direction of Stone Gardens.

Officers attended and conducted a search of the area, but the man could not be located.

Police Constable Callum Mercer, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are making a number of enquiries to establish the identity of the victim and his whereabouts.

“I would like to make a direct plea to the man to please get in touch so we can make sure he is OK and find out what happened.

“Also, I am keen to speak with anyone with information about the incident that may help our investigation.”
