Appeal following assault in Shaftesbury

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following an assault in Shaftesbury.

At around 7.40pm on Thursday 26 March 2026 a teenage boy was assaulted by another teenager known to him in Mampitts Lane.

It was reported the suspect then left the area in a red Audi A3.

The victim sustained minor facial injuries.

Police Constable Allannah Clark, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out an investigation into this incident and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information.

“I am also urging any motorists who were in the area around the relevant time to please check their dashcam footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
