Update – CCTV appeal after woman injured in Poole
Following a CCTV appeal a man has come forward after a woman was injured in Poole.
Between 10pm and 10.30pm on Saturday 21 September 2024 a woman aged in her 30s was walking near to Orchard Plaza she felt a pain to her stomach.
The woman reported that she had been struck by some kind of projectile, possibly a pellet from an air weapon or BB gun. She sustained bruising to her stomach as a result.
Immediately after the incident, the victim saw a man looking at her and laughing. She went to challenge him and the man was reportedly abusive towards her, before making off from the scene.
Following a CCTV appeal, a man aged in his 20s has come forward and is assisting officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.
