Image appeal following burglary at equine unit in North Dorset

Officers investigating a burglary in North Dorset are issuing an image of a horse cart reported stolen during the incident.  

Dorset Police received a report at 2.47am on Sunday 1 June 2025 that entry had been gained to an equine unit in Witch Lane in East Stour.

It was further reported that items had been stolen, including electricals, tools, horse riding gear and a four-wheel Hartland carriage picnic cart valued at approximately £2500.

Police Constable Pat Wales, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out enquires into this incident and I have now obtained an image of the cart reported stolen in the hope someone may have seen it for sale in unusual circumstances.

“If anyone has information about who was responsible, please contact Dorset Police.”
