Update in relation to reported hate crime in Bournemouth
Update – A man has been identified in connection with an alleged hate crime in Bournemouth.
It is reported that between 6pm and 6.55pm on Monday 18 December 2023, a woman was racially abused whilst travelling on the number six Morebus from Bournemouth train station in Holdenhurst Road to the Talbot roundabout. It is reported that a man repeatedly shouted racially abusive language at the woman during the bus journey.
Following a CCTV appeal, a 35-year-old man from Bournemouth has been identified and enquiries are continuing. No arrests have been made.
