Appeal for witnesses and dashcam following public order incident in East Dorset

Officers investigating a public order road rage incident in East Dorset are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

It is reported that at around 4.30pm on Sunday 31 March 2024, an altercation occurred involving the occupants of a black Vauxhall Astra and pony-and-traps at Crab Orchard bends in Verwood Road, Three Legged Cross.

Neighbourhood Sergeant Jane Moore, of East Dorset Police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

“I understand there were a number of vehicles in the area who may have witnessed what happened or captured anything of relevance on a dashcam.

“I am appealing to anyone with information or footage to please contact Dorset Police.”
