Update following reported assault in Bournemouth
Two men have come forward following a CCTV appeal in relation to a reported assault in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received a report at around 3am on Sunday 11 August 2024 of an assault outside Sol in Old Christchurch Road.
It was reported that the victim – a man aged in his 20s – was punched in the face by one man before another hit him over the head with a bottle.
The victim attended hospital for treatment to his injuries.
Following enquiries by officers and a CCTV appeal, two men have now come forward and are assisting officers with their investigation. No arrests have been made.
