Update following reported assault and theft from shop in Boscombe
A woman has come forward following a CCTV appeal as part of an investigation into a reported assault and shoplifting incident in Boscombe.
It is reported that at around 12.50am on Saturday 21 February 2026 a woman stole alcohol from a shop in Christchurch Road.
The woman allegedly left the shop without paying and was followed by a member of staff, who was subsequently pushed and punched in the face by the suspect.
Following a CCTV appeal, a woman aged in her 30s has come forward and is assisting officers with their enquiries. No arrests have been made.
