Appeal for witnesses following sexual assaults in Bournemouth

Detectives investigating sexual assaults on two female victims in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

At around 3.30am on Saturday 25 June 2022 two 18-year-old women were walking through Horseshoe Common when they were approached by an unknown man.

It is reported that the man put his arms around one of the women, before sexually assaulting both of the victims.

The offender is described a white with some facial hair and was wearing a dark-coloured hooded top and jeans.

Detective Constable Holly Sexton, of Bournemouth CID, said: “A full investigation is underway into this incident and we are supporting both victims throughout our enquiries.

“I would like to appeal for anyone who was in the area and may have witnessed what happened, or seen a man matching the description given, to please get in touch.

“Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team can be approached by anyone with any information or concerns.”
