Image appeal following racially aggravated incident in Poole

Officers continuing to investigate a racially aggravated incident in Poole are issuing an image of a man they would like to identify.

It was reported that at around 10.30am on Sunday 14 June 2026 a member of staff working at Poole Retail Park in Redlands was racially abused by another man.

It was further reported that the man made threats of violence towards the victim before being escorted away.

No injuries were sustained.

Police Constable Matthew Wilks, of Dorset Police, said: “Dorset Police takes all reports of hate crime very seriously and we are continuing to carry out enquiries into this matter.

“We are now in a position to issue an image of a man we would like to identify as part of our investigation. I would urge anyone with information relating to his identity to please get in touch.”
