Witness and dashcam appeal following report of fail-to-stop collision in Weymouth
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a report of a fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Weymouth.
It was reported that at around 1.35pm on Monday 29 December 2025 a collision occurred on Greenhill involving a car and a bicycle.
The teenage cyclist was reportedly knocked from his bike and sustained minor injuries, but did not require immediate medical treatment.
It was reported that the vehicle involved – described as a grey or silver car with a number of marks and scratches – did not stop at the scene.
Police Constable Chloe Seaward, of Weymouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our investigation.
“I would also urge any motorists who were in the vicinity around the relevant time, as well as residents in the area with home CCTV, to please check their footage for anything that might assist us.”
