Appeal for information following theft of e-bike in Weymouth

Officers investigating the theft of an electric bike in Weymouth are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.

It is reported that on Saturday 7 October 2023 at approximately 11.30am, the victim locked their electric bike and helmet to the bike rack behind the TK Maxx and Range stores in New Bond Street. When they returned at around 12.30pm, the bike and helmet were no longer there.

The electric bike is a black Cube Touring Hybrid Pro.

Police Constable Lily Cambridge-King, of Weymouth Police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this incident and I would urge anyone with information relating to who might be responsible to please contact us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has come across a bike matching the description being offered for sale locally or online in unusual circumstances.”
