Road traffic collision in Upton – witness and dashcam appeal

Officers investigating a road traffic collision in Upton are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

It is reported that between 8.30am and 9am on Wednesday 24 January 2024, a collision occurred involving a white Hyundai Bayon and a grey Land Rover Freelander on the A35 Upton bypass.

The driver of the white Hyundai – a man in his 30s – was subsequently treated for minor injuries.

Police Constable Mike Rumsby, of Dorset Police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of this collision and am keen to speak to any witnesses of the incident or manner of driving of the vehicles involved in the moments before.

“Also, if you were driving in the area and have a dashcam fitted that has captured relevant footage, please contact Dorset Police.”
