Officers are issuing images of three men they would like to identify following criminal damage and fraud at a hotel in Lyme Regis.

On Tuesday 16 December 2025 three men checked into the Alexendra Hotel in Pound Street. They were asked to leave the premises on Thursday 18 December 2025, which they complied with.

However, it was subsequently discovered that they had caused damage to their hotel room and the credit card they had used to pay for it was fraudulent.

Police Constable Gemma Thomas, of Dorset Police, said: “Due to further evidence coming to light, I am now in a position to share images of three men we are looking to identify as part of our investigation into this incident.

“I would urge anyone who recognises them to please make contact with us.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55260001693. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online using its website or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
