Appeal for information after man found with injuries in Bournemouth

Detectives are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after a man was found with injuries at an address in Bournemouth.

At approximately 12.15am on Thursday 20 July 2023 officers attended an address in Hinton Road following a report of concern for welfare.

A man aged in his 60s was located inside unconscious with serious injuries. He was taken to hospital by the ambulance service and remains in a life-threatening condition.

Cordons are in place in Hinton Road and Westover Road to allow detectives to carry out enquiries.

Detective Inspector Shaun Inkpen, of BCP CID, said: “At this time, it is not known how the man sustained his injuries and we are carrying out enquiries to establish exactly what has  happened.”

“I am appealing to anyone in the area who may have seen or heard anything that they feel is relevant to please come forward.”
