Witness appeal following racially aggravated assault in Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a racially aggravated assault in Poole.

It is reported that at around 8pm on Wednesday 20 July 2022 a teenage boy was racially abused by two other boys in Madeira Road.

The two boys left the area, but returned a short time later with a third boy.

The victim confronted the boys and was subsequently assaulted. He sustained minor injuries.

Police Constable Jade Harper, of Poole police, said: “We take all reports of hate crime very seriously and are carrying out a number of enquiries into this incident.

“As part of my investigation, I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened to please get in touch.”
