Witness and dashcam appeal following serious injury collision in Poole
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward as they investigate a serious injury road traffic collision in Poole.
Dorset Police received a report at 5.41pm on Sunday 14 July of a collision involving a white Nissan Juke and an electric bicycle on Ashley Road, near to the junction with Richmond Road.
Emergency services attended and the 17-year-old male cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries. His family has been informed.
Road closures were put in place as the emergency responders dealt with the incident and were lifted at around 6.35pm.
Sergeant Richard Stroud, of the traffic unit, said: “We are conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to police.
“I would also urge any motorists with relevant dashcam footage to please contact us.
“Finally, I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding while the road closures were in place.”
