Image appeal following theft of caravan on Portland
Officers are issuing an image of a caravan that was stolen on Portland in a bid to find it.
The caravan is believed to have been stolen at around 3.20am on Sunday 20 September 2026 from New Ground car park.
It is reported that a white Ford Transit panel van towed the caravan away in the direction of Weymouth.
It is described as a white Bailey Pursuit caravan with three blue horizontal stripes along each side, a TRUMA air-conditioning unit on the top and has a front left indicator light missing.
Police Constable Jodie Leach, of Weymouth police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area around the relevant time to please get in touch.
“As part of my investigation, I am issuing an image of the stolen caravan and would ask anyone who has information about its whereabouts to please come forward.”
