Witness appeal following assault in Christchurch

Officers investigating an assault in Christchurch are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

At around 8pm on Saturday 16 July 2022 a man aged in his 40s was assaulted on King’s Avenue, near to the junction with Manor Road. The victim sustained facial fractures and the suspect subsequently fled the scene in a vehicle.

The suspect is described as white, aged in his early 20s, around five feet ten inches tall and of slim build with light curly brown hair.

Detective Constable Leo Christian, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We are continuing to investigate this assault and I would urge any witnesses, or anyone with information relating to the identity of those involved, to please contact us.”
