Image appeal in relation to theft of digger in Bournemouth

Officers are appealing for information and issuing an image of a digger stolen in Bournemouth in a bid to locate it.

Between 2.40am and 3.40am on Sunday 23 July 2023 a Takeuchi TB216 mini digger, which was chained to a fence, was stolen from East Avenue.

Police Community Support Investigator Rachael Buller, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries to locate the stolen digger, including checking CCTV from the area.

“I am now issuing an image of the digger in the hope someone may have seen it for sale in unusual circumstances.

“If anyone has information about who was responsible, please contact Dorset Police.”
