Appeal for witnesses following fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Bournemouth
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Bournemouth.
Dorset Police received a report of a road traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian, which occurred at the junction of Shapland Avenue and Finchfield Avenue at around 5pm on Wednesday 15 January 2025.
The pedestrian, an 18-year-old man, sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
Police Constable Andrew Kelly, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this incident to identify the vehicle involved and I would urge any witnesses or anyone with information that might assist our investigation to please contact us.
“I would also urge anyone who was driving in the area and has dashcam fitted to their vehicle to please check their footage for anything of relevance.”
