Between 12.25am and 2.50am on Wednesday 26 March 2025, entry was gained to a property undergoing renovation in Penrith Road.

It was reported that a number of tools were stolen from inside, as well as items for the renovation, including baths, toilets, sinks, vanity units and ovens.

Police Constable Sarah Dutton, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

“If you live in the area and have a doorbell or CCTV camera, I would ask you to please check your footage for anything of relevance.

“We are particularly interested in hearing from anyone who saw or captured footage of three men walking in Penrith Road, or a large white van, possibly a Mercedes Sprinter, travelling in the area between 12.25am and 2.50am on Wednesday 26 March 2025.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact Dorset Police at www.dorset.police.uk or by calling 101, quoting occurrence number 55250042420. Alternatively, independent charity Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously online at Crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling Freephone 0800 555 111.
