Serious injury road traffic collision in Christchurch – witness and dashcam appeal
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward following a serious injury collision in Christchurch.
At approximately 12.40pm on Monday 19 February 2024, a collision occurred involved a white Isuzu truck and a pedestrian in Christchurch Road at the junction with Hurn Court Lane.
The pedestrian – a local woman aged in her 40s – attended hospital for treatment. Her injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening or life-changing.
The male driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Police Constable Steve Eastwood, of the traffic unit, said: “We are continuing to investigate this collision to establish the full circumstances and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.”
