Serious injury collision in Poole – witness and dashcam appeal
Officers investigating a serious injury collision in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
At 4.06pm on Monday 16 June 2025, officers were called to a collision involving an orange KTM motorbike, a white Audi A4, a white Ford Transit van and a brown Honda Jazz on Canford Way.
The rider of the motorbike – a man aged in his 50s – sustained a life-changing injury and was taken to hospital for treatment by the ambulance service.
Road closures were put in place to allow for emergency services to safely deal with the incident.
Police Sergeant Dave Cotterill, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are carrying out enquiries into this collision and I would ask anyone with dashcam footage to please come forward.
“I am keen to hear from anyone who saw what happened or the manner of driving or riding of the vehicles involved in the moments leading up to the collision.
“I would like to thank the public for their patience while the road closure was in place during a busy time of the day. This was necessary for us to be able to safely treat the injured person and carry out an examination of the scene.”
