Officers are issuing a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify following an assault on a bus in Bournemouth.

At around 4.50pm on Thursday 6 February 2025 a man boarded an M1 bus at Bournemouth Travel Interchange in Holdenhurst Road and asked a male passenger to move his feet off a chair so that he could sit down.

The offender swore at the victim, before kicking him in the chest.

Police Community Support Investigator Kayleigh Hole, of Bournemouth police, said: “As part of my enquiries, I am now issuing an image of a man I would like to identify.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him to please come forward as we want to take his account of what happened.”
