Update – further arrest in connection with reported aggravated burglary in Poole
Detectives continuing to investigate a report of an aggravated burglary in Poole have made a second arrest.
Dorset Police received a report at 1.43pm on Tuesday 21 February 2023 of an aggravated burglary that occurred in Chaddesley Glen.
It was reported that two men had forced their way into a property before threatening and assaulting two occupants. The victims did not sustain any serious injuries. Jewellery and watches were allegedly stolen.
Following enquiries, a 31-year-old Bournemouth man was previously arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary and released on police bail.
Following further investigative work by detectives from Bournemouth CID, a 40-year-old man from Hertfordshire has been arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary. He has also been released on police bail as enquiries into the incident continue.
