Appeal for witnesses following suspicious vehicle fire in Blandford
Officers investigating a suspicious vehicle fire in Blandford are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
Dorset Police received a report at 11.40pm on Monday 22 December 2025 from the fire service after an unoccupied vehicle was on fire in Edward Street.
It is believed the fire was started deliberately and an investigation is underway into what happened.
Police Constable Georgia Hedditch, of North Dorset police, said: “I am keen to hear from anyone in the area who may have seen or heard any suspicious behaviour that may help our enquiries.
“I would also like to ask anyone in the vicinity with home CCTV, or any motorists who were travelling in the area, to please check their footage for anything of relevance around the time of the incident.”
