Image appeal following assault in Bournemouth
Officers are issuing an image of a man they are looking to identify as they investigate an assault in Bournemouth.
It was reported that at around 12.30pm on Tuesday 14 April 2026 a man was assaulted by another man inside Lidl in Christchurch Road.
He was reportedly headbutted, sustaining facial injuries that were not believed to be serious.
Police Constable Luca Holmes, of Dorset Police, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries into this assault and have now obtained a CCTV image of a man we would like to identify.
“I would urge anyone who recognises this individual to please make contact with us.”
