Appeal for information following altercation in Bournemouth

Officers continuing to investigate an altercation in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with footage and information to come forward.

Dorset Police received a report at around 8pm on Sunday 15 December 2024 of a fight taking place in Boscombe Crescent Gardens. It was reported that around five people were involved.

It was further reported that two of the people involved were seen leaving the scene in a black vehicle.

Officers attended and carried out enquiries in the area. There were no reports of any serious injuries and no victims have come forward.

Police Constable Rachael Birch, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this matter and from our enquiries, we understand there were a number of people in the vicinity at the time of the incident.

“We also understand that at least one person was reportedly seen filming the incident on their mobile phone.

“We are keen to speak to any witnesses to the altercation and would urge anyone who has footage of it to please come forward and share it with us.”
