Renewed appeal to find missing man from Poole
Officers have released new CCTV images as they search for a missing man from Poole.
William, aged 79, was reported missing having last been seen between 4pm and 6pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026 in Danecourt Road.
Enquiries by officers have led to him being identified in the Exeter Road area of Bournemouth at around 9.15pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026 and he has not been seen since.
He is described as five feet one inch tall and of slim build with short white hair.
Police Constable Ben Richards, of the Missing Support Team, said: “It is very out of character for William to not be in contact with family and we are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare.
“I would ask anyone who has seen him – or a man matching the description given – to please get in touch.
“As part of our enquiries we have identified a more recent CCTV sighting of William outside the Moon in the square pub at around 9.15pm on Tuesday 30 June 2026, which shows the clothing he was wearing when he went missing.
“I am also appealing directly to William to please make contact with us as we just want to make sure you are OK.”
Anyone with information or knowledge as to William’s whereabouts is asked to contact Dorset Police online or by calling 999, quoting occurrence number 55260098474.
