Detectives are issuing CCTV images of two men they would like to identify following a robbery in Bournemouth.

At around 5.25pm on Tuesday 27 May 2025 Dorset Police received a report of a robbery in The Square close to Natwest.

It was reported that the victim – a local man aged in his 40s – was assaulted by two men, who kicked and stamped on his head causing him to lose consciousness. They then stole a black portable Viking speaker, thick silver necklace and black Tudor watch from him, before making off in the direction of the Lower Gardens.

Officers attended with the ambulance service and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious head injury. He has since been discharged from hospital.

Detective Sergeant Cameron Thompson, of BCP CID, said: “We have been continuing to investigate this robbery, including making local enquiries in the BCP area, and with neighbouring forces, to try and identify the perpetrators.

“I am now in a position to issue CCTV images of two men we would like to identify as part of our investigation.

“I would urge anyone who recognises these men, or who has any further information that might assist our enquiries, to please contact us.”
