Update – arrest following reported burglary in Weymouth
A woman has been arrested as officers investigate a report of a burglary at a hotel in Weymouth.
Dorset Police received a report at around 9.45pm on Friday 24 March 2023 of a burglary at a room in The Crown Hotel in St Thomas Street.
A laptop, iPad and purse containing a quantity of cash and credit cards were reportedly stolen.
Following enquiries, a 43-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of burglary. She has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.
