Man charged following alleged serious assault in Bournemouth
A man has been charged following an alleged serious assault in Bournemouth.
At 9.52pm on Thursday 30 June 2022, Dorset Police received a report that a 67-year-old local man had been seriously assaulted by another man in Christchurch Road. He remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It was reported that the alleged offender also assaulted another man, who sustained a fracture, cuts and bruising and pushed a woman to the ground who tried to intervene.
A 31-year-old man from Bournemouth has now been charged with assault by beating and two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent. He is due to appear at Poole Magistrates’ Court on Monday 4 July 2022.
