Image appeal following attempted burglary in Bournemouth

Officers are issuing images of a man they would like to speak with following an attempted burglary in Bournemouth.

At around 2.30am on Tuesday 9 December 2025, a man was reported to be acting suspiciously outside a residential address in Durley Chine Road South.

It was further reported that damage had been caused to a window at the address, but no entry was gained.

Detective Sergeant David Went, of Dorset Police’s Neighbourhood Crime Team, said: “We have been continuing to carry out enquiries into this attempted burglary and are now in a position to issue images of a man we would like to speak with.

“I would ask anyone who recognises him or has knowledge of his identity to please contact us.”
