Appeal for witnesses following fail-to-stop collision near Poole

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward following a fail-to-stop collision near Poole.

The collision occurred at around 9am on Thursday 1 June 2023 on the A35 near to the Bakers Arms roundabout involving a blue Peugeot 107 and a lorry.

It is reported that the large articulated lorry failed to stop at the scene.

The driver of the Peugeot did not sustain any serious injuries.

Police Constable Ashlea Gale, of Dorset Police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries to establish what happened and identify the lorry involved.

“I would ask anyone who was travelling in the area and saw what happened, or may have captured anything of relevance on dashcam, to please come forward.”
