Appeal for information following commercial burglary in Wool
Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a commercial burglary in Wool.
Between around 3.45am and 4am on Thursday 26 March 2026 a break-in occurred at the petrol station at Wool and Bovington Motors in Dorchester Road.
Two men wearing dark clothing with face coverings and gloves gained entry to the premises and made off with a quantity of tobacco products.
They are believed to have made off from the scene in a grey or silver Mark 5 Vauxhall Astra.
Police Constable Josh Hurwood, of Purbeck police, said: “We are carrying out a full investigation into this burglary and I am keen to hear from anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity in the area during the early hours of Wednesday 26 March 2026.
“I would also urge residents in the vicinity with home CCTV or doorbell cameras to please review their footage for anything that might assist our enquiries.”
