Arrest in connection with reported serious assault in Poole
Detectives investigating a reported serious assault in Poole have made an arrest.
It was reported that at around 3am on Sunday 29 March 2026 a man aged in his 30s was assaulted outside Soundwaves Bar on Poole Quay.
He was reportedly punched multiple times in the face and head, causing him to fall to the floor and knocking him unconscious.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment to a broken jaw.
Following enquiries by detectives and a CCTV appeal, a 17-year-old boy from Poole was arrested on suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm. He has been released under investigation as further enquiries are carried out.
