Update following racially aggravated incident in Shaftesbury

A man has come forward following an image appeal in relation to a racially aggravated incident in Shaftesbury.

It is reported that at around 12.50am on Sunday 16 November 2025, a man became racially abusive to a member of security staff at Shaftesbury Football Club in Coppice Street.

It was further reported that the man attempted to punch the doorman. No injuries were sustained during the incident. 

Following an image appeal, a man has come forward and is assisting officers with their enquiries.

No arrests have been made.
