Fail-to-stop collision in Bournemouth – witness and dashcam appeal
Officers investigating a fail-to-stop collision in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
At approximately 10.50pm on Friday 17 November 2023 a collision occurred involving a white car and a cyclist on St Michael’s Roundabout.
It is reported that the driver of the vehicle briefly stopped and offered help to the victim, before leaving the scene without giving his details.
The cyclist – a man aged in his 20s – attended hospital for treatment to a broken wrist.
Police Constable Ran Hartman-Turner, of Bournemouth police, said: “The driver of a white taxi stopped at the scene to help the victim.
“He had left the scene before police arrived and we are keen to speak to him as he may have information to help my enquiries.
“I am also keen to hear from anyone else who may have witnessed what happened or captured anything of relevance on dashcam footage.”
