Appeal for information following reported sexual assault in Bournemouth

Officers investigating a report of sexual assault in Bournemouth are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

It was reported that at around 1.30am on Sunday 5 May 2024 a man grabbed a woman inappropriately around the waist and lifted her skirt in DYMK Club in The Triangle. 

Following enquiries, a 39-year-old man from Poole was arrested on suspicion of sexual assault. He has been released under investigation as enquiries continue.

Investigations Officer Aimee Saunders, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and I would urge anyone who attended the nightclub that night and saw what happened who hasn’t already spoken to police to please come forward.”
