Witness appeal following robbery in Poole

Officers investigating a robbery in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.

The incident occurred at around 12am on Friday 20 October 2023 at Branksome Recreation Ground in the area of Wharfdale Road.

It is reported that two men approached the victim – aged in his 40s – and demanded money from him, before one of the men produced a knife from his pocket.

The suspects stole some of the victim’s medication before leaving the scene.

The offenders are both described as white and aged in their 30s. One of them was described as tall with black hair and wearing a white T-shirt. The second man had blond hair and was wearing a heavy metal rock band T-shirt.

Police Constable Louis Allen, of Poole police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and would ask anyone who was in the area and saw what happened to please come forward.

“I am keen to hear from anyone in the vicinity who may have captured anything of relevance on either dashcam, home CCTV or doorbell camera footage.”
