Witness and dashcam appeal following serious injury collision in Poole
Officers continuing to investigate a serious injury road traffic collision in Poole are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
Dorset Police received a report at 4.21pm on Tuesday 15 September 2026 in relation to a collision involving a blue Tesla and a bicycle on Sandecotes Road, near to the junction with Glengariff Road.
Emergency services attended and the cyclist, a man aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital. He remains in hospital receiving treatment for serious injuries and his family is aware.
Detective Constable Adam Carr, of the Serious Collision Investigation Team, said: “We are still conducting enquiries to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I am appealing for any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please contact us.
“I would also ask anyone who was driving in the vicinity around the relevant time to please review any dashcam footage for anything that might assist our investigation.”
