Appeal following residential burglary in North Dorset
Officers investigating a burglary in North Dorset are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Between Thursday 11 December and Sunday 14 December 2025, entry was gained to a residential address in the area of Park Grove in Stalbridge.
A number of unique items with sentimental value were stolen from inside, including:
- Three gold medals shaped as an Irish harp
- Gold Vesper with letter engraving
- Silver letter opener with three elephants and letter engraving on it
- Set of silver crested forks, some with a lion crest
- Double pearl strand necklace with sapphire and diamond clasp
- Gold oval shaped brooch with a lion crest
- Gold matchbox with letter engraving
- Partick Mavros silver warthog
- Three silver christening cups with lettering
Police Constable Izzy Domleo, of Dorset Police, said: “We are carrying out an investigation into this burglary and I would like to hear from anyone with information that could assist our enquiries.
“Multiple items with sentimental value were stolen from inside the address, and I am asking anyone who has come across any of the listed items being offered for sale locally or online in suspicious circumstances to please get in touch.
“I would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed suspicious activity in the area of Park Grove between Thursday 11 December and Sunday 14 December 2025.”
