Appeal for information following burglary in Bournemouth

Officers investigating a burglary where several bikes and electric scooters were stolen from an address in Bournemouth are appealing for information.

During the early hours of Wednesday 12 July 2023 entry was forced to a garage at a residential property in Branksome Hill Road and four bikes and two scooters were stolen.

The stolen bikes are a blue and orange Cube Stereo Hybrid 140, a flash grey and olive Cube Stereo Hybrid 160 and two black and orange Scott 2016 Scale 930 carbon mountain bikes.

Also taken were two black Inokim Urban Freedom Oxo electric scooters with red logos and detail as well as a black and orange Scott Stego bike helmet.

Police Constable Mark Carlton, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are investigating this burglary and I am appealing to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area during the early hours of Wednesday 12 July 2023, or has any further information that might assist our enquiries, to please come forward.

“I am also issuing images of the stolen items and would also ask anyone who comes across a bike or scooter matching those pictured being offered for sale locally or online in suspicious circumstances to please get in touch.”
