Appeal following burglary in Sturminster Marshall

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary in Sturminster Marshall.

It is reported that at around 11pm on Monday 8 September 2025 entry was gained to an outbuilding at an address in Church Street.

Damage was caused to the doors of the building and a number of items were stolen including a red Honda quad bike, valued at around £5000, tools and a jerry can of fuel.

Police Constable Ashlea Gale, of Dorset Police, said: “We are conducting enquiries into this burglary and are asking for witnesses or anyone with information to please come forward.

“I am also keen to hear from anyone who captured any relevant CCTV or dashcam footage or witnessed any suspicious activity in the area of Church Street on the evening of Monday 8 September 2025. Your information could assist our enquiries.

“Finally, I am issuing an image of the stolen quad bike, and I would ask anyone who has seen a vehicle matching its description being sold in suspicious circumstances, either online or in person, to please get in touch with us.”
