Fail-to-stop collision in Bournemouth – witness and dashcam appeal

Officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward as they investigate a report of a fail-to-stop road traffic collision in Bournemouth.

At around 3.20pm on Monday 25 November 2024 a collision occurred in Cunningham Crescent involving a silver Hyundai Accent and a red Ford Focus.

It is reported that the Hyundai Accent collided with the parked Ford Focus while the driver and passenger were inside.

The male occupants of the Hyundai then left the vehicle and got into a silver Skoda Octavia before driving away from the scene.

A woman aged in her 20s and a teenage girl attended hospital for treatment to minor injuries.

Police Constable Kier Dagnell, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are continuing to investigate this incident and we are looking to identify the male occupants of the Hyundai who reportedly drove away in the Skoda following the collision without stopping to provide their details.

“I am keen to hear from any witnesses who have not already spoken to us, and I would also ask any local residents or motorists driving in the area at the time of the collision to please review their doorbell cameras and dashcams to see if they have captured any footage of relevance to our enquiries.”
