Appeal for witnesses following burglary near Bridport

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward following a burglary at an address near Bridport.

Between 10am on Wednesday 6 August and 6pm on Saturday 9 August 2025, entry was gained to an address in Lansdowne Road in Bothenhampton.

It is believed that items of jewellery and cash were stolen.

Police Constable Daniel Pidgeon, of West Dorset police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity in the area to please come forward.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who may have captured anything of relevance on either home CCTV or dashcam footage during the time period.”
